I’m currently testing Pipechimp to sync my Pipedrive and Mailchimp accounts. It’s running well from MC to PD, but the other way arround I got an error message :

I’m sorry about the inconvenience!
The error message is thrown because Pipedrive allows only administrators to create new fields and you are not a Pipedrive administrator in your organization.
Pipechimp needs a custom deal field ”MCCID” (MailChimp Campaign ID) in Pipedrive to avoid creating multiple deals if contact person clicks multiple times from a MailChimp campaign.
There are three optional possibilities to solve this issue:
- Option 1: Create a Pipechimp account for your Pipedrive admin too
- Option 2: Use Pipedrive admin’s Pipedrive API key for at least one or more integration rounds at your Pipechimp API settings
- Option 3: Ask your Pipedrive admin to create new custom deal field (type: large text, name: MCCID) to Pipedrive.
