Question:

I have two list in MailChimp an a few thousands of contacts.
Do i have first to export the contacts an then run the PipeChimp? Or do PipeChimp
automatically sync the contacts? Andreas

Answer:

Hello Andreas,

At the moment Pipechimp “thinks” Pipedrive as a data master so the integrations begin from syncing Pipedrive contacts to MailChimp and after that syncing click results back to Pipedrive. So if you have those few thousand contacts in MailChimp you should first export them from MC and import them to Pipedrive. After that Pipechimp will do the syncing automatically.

We have just opened a dedicated area for ideas for our new version of Pipechimp here. There is also an idea to start syncing from MailChimp and creating a contact person to Pipedrive if the person clicks from your email campaign. Please view those ideas and you are welcome to submit a new one if that one wouldn’t match to your needs.

Comment:

Hi,

so, I have set everything up .. just like described (I think).
I have an empty MC list .. now I would expect, that alle PD data is transfered but it is not happening …
I am right that I can only have one list in MC that has to be segmented, right?

Answer:

Hi CJ,
I see that now there are contacts synced to that list, but there are no campaigns yet to that list so, therefore no notes or deals created to Pipedrive.

Please let me know if there are any other issues.
